Developers are recognizing the fact that people are not going to be gobbling up their luxury developments soon at their current prices and at the rate the value of homes have declined in the past few years, the boom is over and they have begun to accept that. The sales figures for February gave a well needed boost to the confidence of agents, turning towards the positive side after a few years sliding down. The realization that it was a mere spike quickly dissipated the joy, again resuming the downward trend of the past few months. Prices have however bottomed off, or at least are stabilizing to a level where they cannot go lower which may be the indicator of the much awaited market turn around. Should this be the sign of the recovery process, nobodyt knows for the rest of the economy has a very big influence on such trends so we’ll just have to wait and see.
